We believe that the encounter with contemporary art gives children and teachers significant life tools \u2013 it develops creativity, encourages independent thought, and improves conversation and debate skills. We offer schools around Israel an inviting and playful introduction to contemporary art, which includes an interactive tour of our annual children\u2019s exhibition and the main exhibition on view at the museum.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\">About Our School Tours<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We warmly welcome school groups and offer a range of various programs for you to choose from for your class visit to the museum. The exhibition visits incorporate play-based learning and independent tasks. They introduce the pupils to central art concepts, encourage group discussions, and develop tools for visual literacy and creative thinking.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The visit is complemented by creative workshops in the City Studio. The City Studio is a space for unstructured creative work, equipped with diverse materials and tools, where the children can experiment with art techniques inspired by artworks seen in the exhibitions. In the workshop, they experiment with techniques like acrylic painting, monotype printing, engraving and hammering, paper cutting and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Our programs are designed to meet the needs of diverse age groups and different backgrounds:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>First Museum Visit<\/strong> is intended for children who are visiting an art museum for the first time and offers introductory tools for viewing an art exhibition.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Learning in the Museum<\/strong> offers a closer look at the works displayed in the annual exhibition for children. It is intended for children who have some background in art.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Self-Reflection through Art<\/strong> puts the experience of viewing artworks as the starting point for self-reflection.
