In the book, which continues the adventures of “Alice in Wonderland,” Alice crosses to the other side of the mirror and finds a parallel universe – a strange and wonderful world where inanimate objects come to life, animals and objects can talk, and everything happens on a chess board. There she discovers that everything she knows can be different, strange, and topsy-turvy.

The exhibition presents a collection of artworks created by contemporary Israeli artists in a range of techniques and materials. The exhibition space is split by an imaginary mirror, and each artwork has a counterpart on the other side of the “mirror.” The two works are reflected in one another while shedding a new light on each other. Some of the works combine multimedia and encourage the children to interact with them. In the exhibition, the children meet objects that look like figures, alongside sculptures and drawings that inspire imagination and creative thinking.

In the guided tour of the exhibition, the children will engage in creative activities and guided group conversations that develop independent thinking, creativity, and visual literacy, as well as the sense of confidence to take part in a lively discussion.

Sign up for a guided tour of the exhibition! The tour includes an art workshop that takes place in the City Studio at the Rybak House, located a short walking distance from the museum.

Photography: Elad Sarig

[86,87
post-8264","exhibition","type-exhibition","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","tag-86","tag-exhibitions-and-events-for-children-en
["GET
