Savionim is an open-air cinema set up on the lawn of Bat Yam Museum of Art screening Israeli movies every summer, usually accompanied by a talk with the filmmaker. Held every year since 2017, these screenings are free and open to the public.
The project’s name pays homage to the old Savion Cinema, built in Bat Yam in 1957 as an open-air cinema for the summer season.
